The multiple rape and assault cases against convicted child rapist pastor James Thubakgale has been postponed to Wednesday in the Seshego Magistrate’s Court near Polokwane in Limpopo.
The 57-year-old was last week found guilty of raping two young girls in a separate case and is in custody at the Polokwane correctional center.
Thubakgale has been incarcerated since 20 August after the Mankweng Magistrate’s Court convicted him on two counts of rape.
At Seshego he faces five counts related to the rape of a minor, four of assault and one of fraud.
Meanwhile, five other members of his church have appeared in court for the alleged assault.
Their case has been postponed to 2 December and their bail was extended.
