Pretoria – Public controversies are synonymous with some religious positions and leading a successful church is no easy task. There are pastors who at some stage were at the centre of public debate for divorce, sexual misconduct, religious gambling and allegations of conspiring with political leaders but today are quick to blame other pastors for wrongdoing.

Self-proclaimed prophet Paseka “Mboro” Motsoeneng is the infamous man of God that travelled to heaven and has a selfie to prove it, not only does he have proof but wants to sell you the doctored selfie for a fortune.

Prophet Paseka “Mboro” Motsoeneng is allegedly soliciting cash from pastors who are at the centre of public scrutiny, the moment there is an issue, Mboro is the first on the scene. The infamous pastor has a dwindling congregation, wants to stay relevant and is currently fighting to keep his fancy ride,as reported by the Daily Sun.

Prophet Shepard Bushiri was seen on TV with Mboro, where Mboro claimed they were now brothers and have put their differences behind them aside, but Mboro was seen in a follow-up video on a quest to ambush Bushiri at his office but was not allowed to see him.

According to a source at Enlightened Christian Gathering Church, Mboro was soliciting cash from Prophet Shepard Bushiri (Major1) and Bushiri realised the best thing was to distance himself from Prophet Paseka “Mboro” Motsoeneng. “Mboro’s reputation was not helping at a difficult time”. It was revealed that this is not the first time and that Pastor Alph Lukau was wise not to entertain Mboro when he marched to Alleluia Ministries International in Sandton as he uses the avenue to extort other people.

In his quest to stay afloat, Mboro has come publicly on every mainstream topic but there is less news about his church and work of God.

A member of Mboro’s church who believes Mboro is a gifted man of God, says his biggest problem is his addiction to fame. “Mboro cannot stay off the limelight and always wants to be on TV, he hardly has time for us because we are not rich”

A mitigation group that tried to connectProphet Paseka “Mboro” Motsoeneng with Pastor Alph Lukau and Bushiri says the allegations might be true, as every effort to intervene was avoided by Mboro. This highlights an ulterior motive and has since abandoned the mitigation between the pastors.

Reverend Attah who leads a Ghanaian Missionary Group said the issues of the church are to be discussed amongst men of religion as stated in the Bible. It is sad to see most of them writing letters and others displaying hypocrisy in public. This shows the envy and issues of the divide in the body of Christ in South Africa and Africa are big.

Mboro was contacted but at the time of publishing has not responded.
