Johannesburg – A 4-year-old boy died after falling from the third-storey window of a Fleurhof building in Randburg on Sunday.
ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing said paramedics and firefighters had rushed to the scene to attend to the boy.
“Fire and rescue as well as ER24 paramedics attended to the child. Upon assessment by paramedics it was found that the boy sustained multiple injuries and was in a critical condition,” she said.
“He was transported to hospital. While at hospital the boy’s condition worsened and he had to be resuscitated. Despite all efforts to save him, the boy sadly died. The circumstances surrounding the incident are unknown,” she added.
