JOHANNESBURG – There is still no comment from the Gupta family about reports that two of the brothers have left the country.
City Press reported that the brothers, Ajay and Atul, left from Lanseria Airport on their private jet on Thursday.
Spokesman Nazeem Howa is quoted as saying the Gupta children have also been on the receiving end of hostilities.
This comes after revelations of questionable relations between the family and government.

Recently the Gupta brothers and President Jacob Zuma’s son, Duduzane, resigned as non-executive directors from the Gupta-owned Oakbay Investments.
They have cited a sustained political attack on the company as the reason for their resignations.
A number of local companies have also ended their business relationship with Gupta-owned companies.
Attempts to reach the family spokesperson for comment have so far been unsuccessful.
