JOHANNESBURG – The African National Congress (ANC)’s Western Cape Secretary Faiez Jacobs could be suspended again, just three days after returning to work.
Faiez Jacobs was placed on “precautionary leave” by the party’s Provincial Executive Committee in December for an alleged assault on an ANC researcher in November.
That decision was overturned by the party’s National Disciplinary Committee of Appeals this week.
Jacobs is also facing a charge of criminal assault and will be back in court next month.
