Correctional Services Regional Commissioner suspended

Pretoria – Correctional Services National Commissioner Zach Modise on Friday announced the suspension of Correctional Services KwaZulu-Natal Regional Commissioner Mnikelwa Nxele.

The suspension is with immediate effect.

“Mr Nxele’s suspension follows allegations of acts of gross insubordination as well as failure to implement instructions of the national office.

“Disciplinary processes are underway,” said Modise.

He said further details relating to the suspension would not be publicly disclosed as this was a matter between employer and employee.
